While students will learn at different paces, we believe that true education is a matter of development over time and within a stable community. At Veritas Prep we give our students individualized attention, but always within a common, one-track curriculum. Please explore our reading lists and curriculum sequences.

Course Prerequisites & Summer School
Language
Incoming 7th and 8th grade students should plan to enroll in a summer Latin course based on prior experience. Students new to Latin should take 6th Grade Latin, while those with previous experience should enroll in 7th Grade Latin.
Mathematics
Algebra I is a graduation requirement typically completed in 8th grade at VPA. We recommend the summer Algebra I course for students entering high school without Algebra I on their transcript. Additional middle and high school math courses are available for students who would benefit from remediation or extra practice.
Economics
Economics is a graduation requirement usually taken in 10th grade at VPA. We recommend the summer course for students entering 11th or 12th grade who have not yet completed Economics.
History
American History is a graduation requirement typically completed in 9th grade at VPA. We recommend the summer course for students entering 10th-12th grade without a full credit of American History on their transcript.
Please visit the Great Hearts Online Summer School site for course details and to register for summer classes.
